The movie Outbreak hit the screens in 1995, which means it is almost as old as Retarus 😉
Directed by Wolfang Petersen (Das Boot) and captured on film by Fassbinder and Scorsese cinematographer Michael Ballhaus, the film follows Dustin Hoffmann in the role of Colonel Sam Daniels as he fights against the unscrupulous military and for the life of his ex-wife, who has been infected with the Ebola-like hemorrhagic Motaba fever. To succeed, Daniels has to find patient zero – a monkey called Patsy, who carried the virus into the US as an asymptomatic host and is hiding in a forest. It’s edge-of-the-seat stuff. And in the end the good guys triumph, naturally.
Retarus has developed a promising new feature for its E-Mail Security Services, which takes a completely new approach in dealing with combating brand new malware. We have just implemented it at selected customers as a proof-of-concept test and, following a little fine-tuning, we plan to offer it to interested companies in the near future.
