We have recently started using data feeds from Spamhaus Technology (SpamTeq) for the detection of spam campaigns.
We had already evaluated their IP address feed since the end of last year and integrated it into our existing systems. Measurements have shown that we can detect new spam campaigns much faster with this Spamhaus data.
After these positive experiences, we have decided to use SpamTeq’s domain blocklist feeds as well. In the course of this, we also modernized the backend and set up a new, modern spam detection service. This completes the spam evaluation on average 50 percent faster than before. Furthermore, the modernized backend offers the possibility to flexibly integrate additional services with spam information in the future.
