Retarus’ development center in Portugal continues its impressive growth. In April, the number of employees working in Lisbon will reach a dozen, and in May a new colleague will join to make it thirteen.
Our office in Portugal is also expanding its range of activities beyond focusing only on software development. In the meanwhile, the developers now have several marketing colleagues working alongside them in Lisbon. What’s more, the new colleague joining the Portuguese team as a DevOps Engineer in May will be adding diversity to the Application Management team at Retarus, which has thus far been an entirely male domain, unfortunately typical in the tech sector. But we’re working on it, as you can see.
Retarus officially opened the Lisbon office in June 2021. Just ten months later, in May last year, the Portuguese site already had to move to larger premises to make space for the next step in the growth strategy (of course, the “Retarians” in Lisbon also have the option of working within a hybrid model).
Retarus Portugal is currently also advertising five more vacant positions.
