The theme of this year’s SAP BTP Partner Summit 2025 in Heidelberg was “Push your limits”, and the event underscored the fact that digital transformation projects can only be accomplished successfully in one way – by working together!
SAP’s focus on harnessing the expertise of partners and collaborating with its partner network, especially when it comes to innovation-driven topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) and business process automation, was clearly evident in numerous presentations. Attracting more than 800 participants, the event provided us with an ideal platform to engage in dialogue with our contacts at SAP and other SAP partners to discuss in which areas we can collaborate to develop joint solutions.
Spotlight on SAP BTP
At the March 2025 event, a number of new functions were presented for the Integration Suite. To facilitate migration from SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Orchestration), for instance, the Walldorf-based company now offers a new migration tool designed to assist with the middleware transition to the Integration Suite. In particular, this approach could be applied in environments where communication processes are often highly distributed. Existing integration scenarios are automatically assessed, after which the tool then suggests interfaces and flows for mapping to the Integration Suite. This should speed up implementation in practice, while also reducing costs.
Solutions for every infrastructure
Retarus offers a comprehensive portfolio of communication services which integrate seamlessly into SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP). Our services cover a wide range of requirements – from on-premises to hybrid and cloud – accompanying our customers along the path of digital transformation:
- Messaging: Pre-configured connectors for SAP BTP facilitate the integration of email, fax and SMS with SAP solutions.
- Intelligent Document Processing (IDP): The automated processing of inbound documents with AI-assisted data extraction reduces manual processes substantially.
- Cloud EDI: Secure, highly performant connections between SAP systems enable the efficient transmission of business-critical documents.
- Global E-Invoicing: Data processing, data validation, process management, transmission, archiving and ancillary services all from a single source, while also covering a wide range of international B2G, B2B and B2C e-invoicing standards.
Connectors which have been made available via the Integration Suite can effortlessly be integrated into workflows (integration flows) using a low code approach, for instance by way of OpenAPI specifications or GraphQL-based query APIs for event and message tracking.
The fitting API specifications are outlined in the Retarus API Knowledge Portal and can be implemented in the SAP Integration Suite by following the SAP BTP Integration Guidelines.
