At Retarus, we value fostering the relationships with our strategic partners, integrating our cloud messaging solutions into major ecosystems, and keeping up with market developments on a global scale. We therefore decided to attend two simultaneous events of the Salesforce World Tour 2024: One in Manhattan, New York, and the other across the Atlantic in Munich, Germany.
With offices strategically positioned on the U.S. east coast and in Munich, we were happy to have this event in our backyard not just once, but twice. In this blog post, we’re diving into three key takeaways our international team had from this year’s Salesforce World Tour.
AI and automation are on everybody’s mind
The resounding theme across both events comes as a surprise to nobody: Artificial Intelligence continues to shape nearly all discussions and innovations. From keynote speeches to personal conversations, it was evident that businesses worldwide are prioritizing this technology to automate processes, enhance productivity, and foster innovation. We learned more about the ways in which businesses around the Salesforce ecosystem leverage AI, and we shared some details about Retarus’ spin on this hot topic. After all, the transmission of documents is a vital part of many key processes – therefore giving us a prime opportunity to add real value through automation and AI.
Data quality is key
Data is paramount to any enterprise in 2024. At Salesforce World Tour, we observed a noticeable focus not just on data, but on good data. Everybody agrees that the best decisions are based on clean, structured, and meaningful information, and Salesforce World Tour was all about how to get to this standard. At Retarus, we help businesses not only transfer unstructured into structured data with low effort and high accuracy; but our messaging solutions also enable the transmission information in a reliable and compliant manner. Thus, supporting organizations in making sure that the right data is in the right place at the right time – the foundation for better decisions.
Europe and North America: Same topics, subtle differences
As we were able to have our local teams attend both the New York and Munich instances of this year’s Salesforce World Tour, we could compare the North American and European events. The core topics of Artificial Intelligence, automation, data quality, customer centricity, and customizability were equally present on both sides of the Atlantic. However, it was interesting for our teams to pick up on the subtle differences in how experts at the events view and discuss these topics. We continue to place importance not just on giving our customers the very best cloud solutions for Salesforce, but also on making sure we address varying regional preferences and requirements.
