On Thursday evening, our colleagues in Timișoara joined our founder and CEO Martin Hager and several managers from Munich and Erfurt in celebrating the fifth anniversary of Retarus’ Romanian country organization – a real success story.
In December 2019, Retarus officially opened what was then its 15th branch office in Timișoara, Romania – European Capital of Culture 2023, btw – for eleven employees (we had already been present in the country since 2013 via a local partner). The number of employees in Romania has been rising continually since then, and by last year the staff had already more than doubled to 24. The fact that four of these Retarians have become parents within the five years since the subsidiary was founded speaks volumes for the family-friendly company environment.
Due to this ongoing growth, the company has needed to find new premises more than once. Since February this year, retarus (Romania) S.R.L. has been located in Iulius Town – a modern, centrally located complex of buildings comprising a business center, congress hall, mall and garden area. The Romanian branch office is responsible for the implementation of a range of services with a particular focus on EDI, development and support, among other tasks.
We are proud to celebrate along with our Romanian colleagues and are looking forward to many more successful years in “Timi”!
