“Automated Fax Reply” service sends an automatic delivery confirmation to the sender. The advantage over regular transmission reports is that it does not only confirm receipt, but also attaches the first page of the original fax as a record. In this way, the service informs the sender reliably whether the message has reached the recipient without error or not.
