The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) recently granted us our first US patent – and of course we’re mighty proud of the achievement!
Good things do indeed come to those who wait – we had already submitted the patent specification document in early February 2016.Then on August 21st, 2018, our application became patent number 10,057,454 B2. It describes a “METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING FAX MESSAGES FROM A FAX MESSAGE SENDING DEVICE TO A FAX MESSAGE RECEIVING DEVICE” and, to be more precise, a hybrid fax driver which employs rules to route queued fax data either via a local communication device, for instance a fax server, or alternatively via a cloud fax provider, such as Retarus.
