With numerous employees around the world working almost entirely from home for the past nine months, Retarus thought a sweet surprise for the holidays was in order. A “build-your-own gingerbread house kit” was mailed to every employee. The perfect outlet to express your unique holiday spirit and an opportunity share some fun with each other (even if we all can not be in the same place).
As you could imagine, this was the ideal project to harness the creative and competitive spirit of each Retarian. Ranging from classic to modern, uniform to abstract, and delicate to wild, one thing was consistent: all were delicious and the cheer and joy was everywhere (almost as much as gingerbread crumbs and icing).
Take a moment to enjoy some of the gingerbread creations from around the world, including the winner of the 2020 Gingerbread House competition. Houses were voted on by all employees from around the world, with the rankings based on total number of votes.
