The Retarus Status Page is set to be enhanced through a handy new feature. In future, all certificate changes affecting public services such as APIs or websites will automatically be announced in the course of our change management process.
To be precise, no later than 35 days before a certificate is set to expire an announcement will appear in the “Certificate Changes” category on status.retarus.io. This notice initially contains details about the soon-to-expire certificate and will then be complemented with information about the new certificate at least 22 days prior to the expiry date.
Customers can use the new function to proactively stay up to date regarding upcoming certificate changes by way of the Status Page. Even though these changes are generally performed very transparently, experience has shown that for various reasons some customers may establish a binding to a particular certificate. The automated information is intended to prevent potential disruptions in such cases.
You can access our Status Page at https://status.retarus.io, where you can additionally subscribe to receive all or selected system announcements via email. This link can also be found in the footer of all Retarus web pages under the point “Retarus System Status”.
