Retarus Achieves TX-RAMP Security Certification for its Fax Solution
Texas state agencies can now rely on Retarus Cloud Fax to reduce costs and optimize efficiencies in business communications
München, 22.10.2024 // Retarus, global provider of messaging solutions for businesses, today announced it has attained TX-RAMP Level 2 Certification, the highest level available under the current TX-RAMP framework. Retarus’ Cloud Fax Solution is now certified to process, store or transmit agency data that is determined to be confidential and either a moderate or high impact information resource. This certification means that State of Texas agencies, as well as companies working with data from these agencies, can now depend on Retarus’ industry-leading digital fax technology to ensure greater security in communications while optimizing costs.
Created in 2021, the Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) is designed to protect state data from cybersecurity threats by ensuring that cloud services used by state agencies meet security and privacy requirements. To receive TX-RAMP certification, cloud-based solutions providers must comply with a framework established by the Texas Department of Information Resources.
State of Texas agencies, as well as companies working with state data from these agencies, can now leverage Retarus’ efficient and secure Cloud Fax without the need for any fax servers or devices.
